I had the same problem, I set it back to CPW on Monday, waiting to hear what the problem was...
I only had it 2 months and had the lastest firmware....
Will keep you posted on what SE say the problem is.....

Yes I had this problem as well.. I noticed a white line right down the middle of the screen in a Night/dark situation...
I think I was using the latest o/s.. but I did take it back to the sony service center with some other issues...

i got my P800 back now.. (thanks SEMICON phils. for the fast service). it is hardware related. they replaced my camera with a new one..

sounds like mine is the same perhaps a bad batch, yours seems a very quick turnround for repair hope mine does not take too long from celestica.

i have been chasing celestica about my phone it has been away nearly 8 weeks have rang SE and celestica probabally 20 times the phone was changed for another for the camera fault and sent to me . But after a week it turns out that it was sent to the wrong address still more phone calls and they(celestica )promised that it would be delivered to the correct address but they sent it to the same address, rang yesterday and they ammended the address had a knock from the citi-link courier this morning with the phone it was sent to the same address as before but he knows me and delivered to me , great i thought put my sim in and turned it on and they have sent me an orange phone locked to orange the one sent was unlocked and used on t-mobile /vodafone talk about p****d off have contacted SE and and a manager is suppost to be calling me back, i dont know how a company such as SE can deal with somebody like celestica.
