Well I don't think I would categorize myself as the "always wait for something better" type.
In fact I've owned almost every Ericsson (or SE) phones since 3xx series.
Well the hissing problem on the T610 really bugged me and so is the non-TFT screen.
TFT screen does drain a lot of battery, but that's why there's an external B&W screen on the Z600. And doesn't it have a bigger battery than T610?

Why would u call a phone which doesn't support 3G a shit phone ??? Not many operators support 3G at the moment and the reception and quality aren't really fully spoort at the moment anyway !!! Rather go for a non-3G phone now and wait for 1-2 years after 3G technology mature !!!

yes but 3G is a bit of a sensation with all the cool stuff you can do, videocalls etc... the Z600 doenst bring me any new stuff at all, at least no more then i am able to do with my T610, MMS, bluetooth, camera, wap, SMS, polyfonic ringtones, 65000 colors and so on...
so what more can you do with a Z600?

i think the z600 maybe the first clam phone in europe with bluetooth.however it depends if the motorola v600 comes out first asthis has bluetooth infact it has all the features of the z600 except morphun (not a great loss).
the z600 is just to similar to the t610 to make it worth me upgrading i dont normally like clam shells just something else to go wrong.but i must confess this looks really nice.
as for the other 2 phones se has released i think they look crap and sound crap.
but i aint a 8-15 which i guess is the market there aiming
