I haven't tried the "cut & paste" trick yet but it sure;y looks like a handy thing to have especially if you are moving stuff around your phonebook (i.e. copying and pasting numbers between multiple contacts).

I think, however, that it might just be easier to memorize the number to placeon he SMS rather than go through the procedure of entering the Edit Contact menu.

Cheers !!!

Thanks for that tip, didn't know that one. However it doesn't actually help with my problem since i cannot paste a copied number in a SMS message I think the vcard is the best way then. thx

Does anybody know if there is a software for mac so that you could type your sms-message with your mac and then send it via bluetooth to your phone (T68i) and so to the receiver? Some messages would be easier to type with keyboard than with the phone, you know.

Here's how you send sms from your Mac via Bluetooth.
Make sure Phone and Mac are paired in the bluetooth prefs panel.
Just open Address Book on your Mac, click on any sms-capable phone nbr and select "send sms" from the pop up menu et voilą !

Easy as pie, what else did you expect with a Mac

Cheers

From within the OS X AddressBook is certainly one and a good option.

Alternatively one can get a third party SMS software. One that I recommend is GSM Remote X. There's SMS option but also facitlities to manage your SIM's phone number registry. You can find it through .

Thanks for the tips it seems that there is some problem between my T68i and the address book because that one doesn't work. But the GSM Remote X does, jee!
