the midi is the REAL battery killer. and the second one is the games, because of the screen always changing graphics. the camera not using the batttery much. i've tried testing the standby time for the battery. it went on for 5 days with calls about 5 mins per day. it did just like my past t68i. but i like my last t20. it went about 8-10 on standby.

The mentioning of the T20e also brings back to me some very fond memories. Those were the days... Funny nobody mentioned GPRS among the most demanding features for the battery! My T310 returns every 24 hours to the charger because of this. The T39's battery performs much better during GPRS sessions, but I assume its display requires less power as well. masseur: I understand what you're saying, but when one fills up their car, one usually drives it until the tank is near empty and it's time to fill up again. It's pretty monotonous and inconvenient to fill up (or rather top up) the tank after only a few miles of driving each day.

The T610 is suppose to appeal to every type of consumer, including business men/women who are away for a few days.

Going back to the original thread: I also have a T610 but the battery life has been absolutely dismal! I have it on standy-by 95& of the time - no IR, no Bluetooth, minimal calls, no game playing, the camera novelty has now ended and I don't even use that.

Good phone, but piss poor battery life even after the latest firmware upgrade.

I've been saying this since I joined Esato but what is this fascination with having a phone that can last days and days. Do not most people go home every night and can stick the phone on the charger? Surely its only an issue if the phone doesn't last a whole day based on your maximum usage?

Alot of ppl travel so they can be away 2-3 days and even if you only
are away over the day you could forget to charge it over night.
I love long standby and talk times on a phone and think its important
that was one of the main reasons i ditched Nokia and went for got
alot better battery performance. I been very happy with t68i
and T610 since when they start to warn about low battery I can still
talk alot (where Nokia powersdown 30sek after the first bloody warning).
To sum it up: 1) I agree good battery performace is important.
2) I think T610 gives me great battery times.

For the features of the T610, I doubt any phone beats it in battery life.

I have bluetooth always on, talk for at least 60 minutes a day, and I still get 4-5 days before needing to charge! I never use the games though, and rarely use the camera.

my T610 can take about 2 days of hard abuse before switching itself off on a full charge, but i have noticed the more i charge it (everynight when i sleep)

it seems to last longer throughout the day.. weird

anywhoo i do a bit of travelling myself so am thinking of getting a second battery so can use it for a week if my (international) SE charger dont work

only 30AUD

this is from another member of esato forums selling these T610 batteries
