I've got one of these Microtooth thingies:

http://www.mobilphonekit.com/

I know it doesn't get a lot of publicity, but it's very small, light, has good battery time and comes with a nifty belt pouch with integrated charger.
You can buy one in the UK at The Link under the brand name 'Kondor' (or search online).
Works fine for me.

P.S. Also comes with a car charger and will use any N*kia charger.

Thanks for all the replies guys / gals.

Still a bit worried about the SE ones as i have unlocked my T610 and wouldnt want to have an upgrade done as it would be complicated.

The plantronics one looks OK - i might head into a couple of shops and try some on.

Any further advice much appreciated.

G

Given that lots of others are thinking about headsets do reply here after using for a few days to tell us your thoughts.

I got a bluespoon chameleon a few days ago and I'm impressed with it, it's a nice piece of kit, even if it does look a little silly!

I had some guy come up to me in the street and just go, "what's that thing in your ear?!" lol.

Some people I know were convinced it was a phone and I had gotten rid of my p800... but hey, these people know nothing about technology!

it comes recommended and is a much better price than the other bluespoon's on the market.

Bluespoon Digital is by far the best one can get, if cost is not the prime consideration. I have been using it for two months now, over a Bluespoon Analog which I had been using for 6 months.
The Analog was already by far better than SE models (I have used in the past HBH-10 and tried from a friend HBH-30) in terms of battery life and quality of speaker / microphone. The Digital goes even better, using digital algorithms to cancel the surrounding noise, especially important when you use it on foot or in car, and to adjust automatically the speaker volume so that you can hear properly when outside without doing any adjustment.
The only thing that it is a matter of personal preference is the form and shape, yes it is very light, yes it is very Star Trek - like, but some people on the road may think you wear a hearing aid.

Good luck in your quest!
