If you can get hold of any Fo8 (figure of eight) power cables from different countries, they will work just as well as the ericsson snap on set.

In addition, you can use the UK 3 pin snap on thing as a replacement for the Fo8 cable. This came in handy when travelling with my T28 + laptop, as I only had to bring the transformer part of the laptop and not the power cable (either the snap on bit or the cable would charge both)

CST-13 chargers for the U.K. may need to be recalled if it says

`Made in Thailand by Delta`

and/or has the unique identification number BML 162 099/3 R1A on the side where the 3-pins are.

Sony Ericsson have issued a press advert and set up an additional 24 hour freephone (from a landline) number as follows to deal with customer enquiries 0800 587 6072.

The two part charger was the type that used to come with the T39. I have one from my old T39 and it works fine with both my T68i and my P800. I wouldnt worry about it.

I don't see why not. Just call the service number and they should exchange it. After all it's dangerous equipment

proof of what? if you have a charger from the faulty batch (they'll ask for the code from the back) they take your address , send you a new one and an envelope referenced with your unique id number so they can tell whose chargers are out of circulation.

Miss Uk, the fact that you bought the charger secondhand does not mean that therefore they won't swap it. After all.... you now own one of their faulty products..... they have to change it, reagrdless of where you got the thing.
