Okay, maybe this idea is still alive.
I've tried transferring two songs (MP3s) from my PC to my P800 via Bluetooth.
One, encoded at 160kbs with a length of 2:28, transferred in 2:26.
The other, encoded at 96kbs with a length of 4:14, transferred in 2:19.
So, what's the bandwidth problem again???

Okay, haven't found something as described, but I've found a great programme to control WinAMP via Bluetooth.
Probably been mentioned here before, but for the newbies here's the link:
http://www.compsoc.man.ac.uk/~ashley/bemused/
All I need to do is wire the PC audio into my lounge, and I can control what WinAMP plays from the sofa (pc's in the next room).
Very cool.
(by the way, what's happened to Little Roo, my furry friend??? Ah, there he is!)

Use Bemused, Put your MP3's in your WinAmp playlist,
browse your pc, and then browse your WinAmp playlist.

Maybe I get wrong (please let me know if am I), but I think the original idea was about:
- Listen mp3 throug P800 (for example in bed with headphones)
- The mp3 are streamed from the pc using bluetooth.
Is that possible (even if it's 64kbps quality, it would be nice)?

Ru - when I bought my phone, I wanted a similar set-up to what you are requesting: To browse and listen to music stored on my PC from my phone.
However, when I got the phone I realised that the speaker quality of the P800 and the download speed over Bluetooth aren't good enough to listen to my music on the fly.
With Bemused you can navigate your music collection on your PC and play tracks from there, but it doesn't play through your phone speaker. You can download tracks to your phone and then play them when complete, but again this still might not be what you are looking for.
To get around this, I bought some 5 watt battery powered wireless Ross speakers from my local Dixons. They were about £30, but they were a brilliant buy. You plug the transmitter into your PC and then you can listen to sounds from your PC from anywhere within a 100m radius.
Now this set-up is complete - I can be sat in my back garden with my phone (to select the music to play using Bemused and the Bluetooth connection), a wireless speaker (to listen to the music coming out of the PC) and a nice cool beer (to get drunk). All I need now is some decent weather.........
So go and get some small wireless speakers - it's only a suggestion but it works great for me.
Cheers

Cheers djfnet.
I'm going to hard-wire an audio connection from my PC to the lounge stereo, so quality won't be an issue.
Not sure the landlord will like it though...
