yep i got mine off ebay for £78.50 inc del.
i like the phone because to me it looks class and has lots of features and on paper looks very lite (84g grams, my brothers nokia 6100 is 74g and that is as light as anything)
does the 13 sec trick delete all of the ringtones and background pics that come with the phone?

On the t68i i think it is suppose to delete everything possible. Personal i never tried it out with mine. There are mainy threads in this forum that take about it. Just search for '13 sec trick'

I see now. Thanks for opening my eyes. I have easy access to different phones so once I got into the t6xx series looking at the t68i made my eye sore. =)

Why are people still getting T68i? Because it's a very solid phone in terms of features with a fantastic price.
I don't need fancy sounds nor built-in camera. But I do need triband, BT, GPRS and an email client. The colour screen isn't the best but are more than adequate for improved viewing convenience.
T610 is great but it's just silly to pay for almost 3x the price of a T68i.

its all about what time people choose to move on...everyone does eventually, some before others.

Hardly. What new features on T610 will revolutionize your ability to phone and transmit data when compared with T68i? How much faster? Definitely not the close to 100% speed improvement many people usually wait with computer upgrades. And that built-in camera is pure gimmic. I have a 3.4 MP real digital camera for those times when I want to take a real photo and keep it.
The only difference with getting the T68i now is my saving of around US$250. That amount of saving for getting a T68i (Less than 2 years post release), along with a bug free firmware, is money wisely spent.

One major flaw with t68i is that you cannot edit SIM entries. If you use fma on your PC editing SIM entries and phonebook is simple:

Fma is also very good for moving SMSes to your PC and keep the number of SMSes in the phone low. That is good since many smses in inbox slows opening it down radically.
If you press and hold key "5" you'll end up in phonebook on a name beginning with j. Very handy
Dialling from SIM is fastest done if you key in "7¤" Then you'll end up on position 7 in your SIM phonebook.
Voicedialling is also very handy but I rarely see people using it. Try it!
Just some tips that made my life easier
