Check out my link again for pictures of the stylus. Upon closer inspection, even the stylus has differences. The backside on the stylus is silk smooth, just as the covers. My original stylus has a rougher surface.

If you look at the sideshot of the dummy, you can see that the plastic has "seaming" that the original phone hasn't.

I've also included some pics of the flips taken off, both on the dummy and the real phone. The differences are quite clear here. The real thing is very precise and sturdy. The dummy flip is quite shoddy, and won't even fit the real phone. I've taken pictures of the flips on the phone to give an idea of what it would look like _if_ you modified it to fit,

Maybe its the N American phones but looking at the battery covers I noticed something very different from both of mine. Mine have ribbing that goes across the battery cover on the inside, guess it makes it stronger. That way it doesnt flex as much? Both my p800's are newer (from a couple months ago) Well one I am not sure, I got one off e-bay for parts, but it too has the same ribbing on the inside of the battery cover. Has anybody else noticed these differences?

I couldn't help noticing that the inside of my battery cover is not like any of the ones in the pictures?! Maybe mine is special or they got updated

Might very well happen. Mine is from january '03, and it's made in Sweden.

Could you post your stats, and perhaps post a pic?

i dont think he's lieing, but i do think it happends quite often, iv seen two cases my self, not with dummies but people walking around with there phone talking constantly like there is no one there on the outher side, one had no battarys, the outher got an call just when he talked with "someone".

sorry for spelling errors, i dont got the energy to check...

Feel free to start your own thread about that phenomena, but let's try to keep a thread on one issue her? (No offense... ) I'm interested to see if anyone has the same covers on their phones as my dummy has?

Yes, same as T68i dummies, NONE of the dummy P800 phone parts are any good for use on aa P800, keypad will NOT fit on, but if you are desperate you CAN use the lower front blue cover as a replacement, its bad quality, but will fit.
I is well known that dummy phones & dummy parts are made by seperate companies who have nothing to do with the actual phone manufacturing.therefore, the fit, quality of the materials & surface wearing of the paint finnish will all be sub standard.
