In my two T610s (and previously T68i) whether I am in Australi, UK ro Germany, I have a local sim in one and a foreign in the other so I am always roaming on one of them and very often switching carriers and have never seen two operator logos in the several years I have been doing this.

now that is a possible reason for seeing two operator logos, if the operator is broadcasting the operator name as the cell info instead of the usual location info.

I hadn't thought of that, but that would be nothing to do with being between cells as that would happen with just one cell.

Guyz, guyz, guyz...
Take it easy will ya!
It's not two operator logos, it's not SIM problem, it's not beeing between two cells or whatever. It's not that I know a lot about that too, but as far as I do, first it depends on how your carrier wants it to be. For example one of the carriers in Bulgaria (one of the two ) recently it merged with onother company. Before it was MobilTel and on the phone it was shown MobilTel (first line) and MobilTel BG (second line). Now name's M-Tel and the two lines are M-Tel and MobilTel Company or MobilTel BG (not sure). The other carrier still reads GLOBUL (1), GLOBUL (2).
Then it depends how your phone recognizes it's network too. Because my first ever set (Alcatel OT511) reads the GLOBUL network as 284.5, since on my last phone (SE T68i) it says GLOBUL. I don't know if my new T610 will read something else, I'll check when I go back home in a week

Take care guyz, and remember... rulz...

Since I work for FIDO as a retail partner and since this post did start off with a person having trouble with FIDO, it's the sim card that does the two operator logo. If you placed another sim card into the phone it shouldn't happen. took a look into this thread and it became from question of two operator logos to "who knows more about GSM networks"

I'm pretty sure Masseur has a good understanding, and I'm not doubting Croatia, it's just that I have trouble understanding you.

Sorry, but you're wrong. In my case the area info is already off, I pretty sure that the problem is in the SIM. I think that happens in operators that chance their original name to vodafone, in my case when I use an old SIM from Telecel (now vodafone) my logo is just: "vodafone P". But when I use a new SIM card (already vodafone portugal) appears "vodafone P" and "VODAFONE".

The guys from vodafone said to me that they can't correct this.
