Intrestingly, when my parents call me from India I get their number/name but last month I was in India on holiday and when my girl friend called me from here (UK) it came as unknown or +60 on my mobile.thats strange isn't it/ sort of one way traffic. I am on 02 and my girl friend as well

masseur is right. I noticed I do get the unknown id when an international call comes in, but after a few seconds, the number appears. Not always though.

1- you make international call throug your company
2- your company transfers the call to the company they have affiliated on the receiver country
3- the company from the receiver country transfers the call to the receiver

That's the way 1) both companys make money 2) you don't see the number

With sms, the receiver company is not geing paid.
