ive had the t68i for one and a half years now (t68m upgraded to r7a013) and i have to admit, even i was surprised that it lasted that long, even though had to be extra careful with it, it being a sony ericsson. ive known friends whose phones died after a few months (t28)

The only problem i have now is a signal problem with one carrier which i cant seem to resolve, and emailing sony ericsson hasnt helped since they havent answered me in 3 days:

This seems to have been missed so far. I don't think that either the T200 or the T100 were actually made by SE themselves, more like an outside contractor - am I right?

t68i is the king of phones ... !!! it has everything you will need and then some ... you can personalize it with themes , screensavers , its got bluetooth the only thing that would help the t68i to be better is that they had included poliphonic ringtones , you wont regred that you bought it !

I had my T68i since it was released in sweden (made in sweden)
and it have worked flawlesly untill this summer when the vibrate function stoped working so I'm pretty happy about the quality of it.
My T610 also have worked nicely so far.
I have no feeling of that would have less quality then
other mobile manufacturers if anything the oposit.

imo ericsson made great phones by themselves, but quality has suffered when sony joined in

yeah, the quality has suffered when they merged with sony... if i compare my really old T68 with my T68i which is 3 months old, i can see the difference in quality of the casing. the T68 has good paint on top that doesntcome off, whereas the paint on the top part of the T68i has already started to chip off when i tried to open the antenna cover. this never happened to the T68. also, the T68 has a smooth finishing that seems to prevent it from gashes when dropped, unlike T68i..

but thena again, i think se is still good in comparison with others, as half the se phones i've had had survived dropping into ye 'ol toilet bowl.... my nokias faints when it smells the stink.

I have a T68m upgraded to "i" since the day of release. Now it is two years old (made in Sweden) with 600 hours talk time and about 310K joystic moves. I have dropped it twice on concrete.
The phone works fantastic. I am not buying another phone unless it dies. And definetely my next phone would be a SE althoug the T68 was my first Ericsson phone I ever had.
Nokia is POS. My provider gave me a 6610 for free and I immediately gave it to my father as a gift.
