Yep, ditching this blue plastic creaky brick for a treo 600 myself.
I've no use for bluetooth - never used it on my T39 or P800. A proper keyboard, editable office documents and 512mb expansion means its that rather than a p900.

Now you indicated in previous posts, e.g. incorret MS card bought from Dixons, that you own a P800. If this is the case, and you have had a quick look at the manual, you'll seen that the P800 has BT built-in, unlike the Treo 600. It is the case that because Handspring wanted to reach a certain price pont they excluded many features. They are waiting to get feedback from users before they add BT, WiFi, higer res, etc.
I hope that helps.

No thanks. Its an even bigger brick than this sky blue monstrosity. Wasn't designed by a reject from Fisher Price, however.

Sorry but the Treo 600 looks as crap as the Nec 808y, No... in fact it looks even worst. you'd be better off buying a sagem myX-6 at least the ariel is internal. the Treo 600 looks like something from 1983 rather than 2003. just my opinion, oh well to each their own. but nothing touches the P800

oops sorry for my last empty post.
Now here is my opinion. I agree with the problems of the P800!Period!
Jah says (or someone else) that its no match for a P800, What? Has Sony actually soaked your brain in Vodka? The design of the Treo is spot on, and should be since its Handsprings 2nd try, as the P900 is as well as its Sony's 2nd try. SOrry I know SonyEricsson, but there is a reason for SOny's name being first. $$ and design! Look at the faithful T-39's antenna - which I still love that phone (light, elegant, professional looking, and straight to the point with its features)- is a dead ringer to the Treo 600's.
SDIO expansion is a major plus, MMC & SD cards along with the upcoming Sandisk WiFi=+Memory combo SDIO card, Sony cannot match that currently. Plus it'll be cheaper in the long run as for any memory size SD vs MemoryStick (any version) is!
I still hate the proprietory position of SOny's expansion format. I just hope that the Treo600 has a seperate switch for turning the phone on & off from the Palm OS function - though I doubt it. The P900 would be your ideal bet though if you Truely need something close to a Laptop replacement with a phone when travelling light.
I'm still waiting for an Ericsson phone with the speed of the T610, the elegance of the T68m the color display with OLED along with the flip-phone security of say a Motorola V600. God I never thought I'd ever say that I wanted anything Motorola.
I gotta check my head too!

One of the claimed benefits of Palm OS is the vast amount of s/w. BUT Opera is much better than Palm OS web browsers such Blazer. Also, Palm OS does not have multi-tasking after all these years. And have you ever tried to install apps on the memory card on a Palm OS machine - it is really hit and miss as the memory management is not as sophisticated as Symbian. You need to think hardware and software when comparing these two animals.

Many people said that Opera in P800 is much better than Blazer. However, I constantly facing a problem when I launch the Opera - Not enough Memory. I have the same problem when tried to launch BugMe. This is what I hate the most in Symbian P800.
About the releasing the memory in P800 - Yes, we can use tool such as SMan. However this is not a default tool from Symbian. What Symbian need 3rd party to develop such tool to help them to manage the memory management better? Isn't is a joke? What if SMAN not available? And how about for those new comer, they may not know that this is a must used Tool. Then they would have to suffer from the battery drainage problem.

Treo 600 has won me over I am afraid. I ordered one online on Friday, should be arriving on Tuesday! Very excited now! I will post a full review of it after I have received it.
