My Gprs is the same as yours, but since you want non o2 pop i'm not sure if it works for that. Any way, i simply meant for you to go onto wap using your phone via dial up, then disconnect and connect like you did before on your pc. I found if i had used Gprs on my phone before surfing over gsm on a mac, it disconnected after 2 minutes everytime. Once when my Gprs was down, i was using gsm dial up on my phone, i finished, went to connect on my mac and it stayed connected.

i will try browsing on the phone before dialing from the pc, but does anyone else have an idea as to why i keep getting cut off so to speak?

It is correct that you need to browse using gsm wap before you connect to the internet on your computer.
I dont the reason why, but it works and as far as i know its the only way to get it to work.

The postsay one will be your gsm account. Since youcan already connect via gsm. The dial up is +447712927927 and the user is o2wap password is payandgo or password.

Ok one more time. Create a data account named O2 WAP GSM dial up +447712927927 user o2wap password is payandgo or password. Now create a wap profile named O2 WAP GSM choose connect using O2 WAP GSM and the ip is 193.113.200.195
Now if you select this account it will connect to gsm on your phone, you can choose always ask in connect using on wap profile so you don't have to keep changing. Let me know how you get on.
