i just figured it out...£89 for handset...£150 for first 3 months then £15 a month for 9 months...makes it £415 or there abouts...its not really worth it IMO.

CPW will price match upto £50 difference on the same tariff. I got my p900 for £100 as
http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk have p900s (not in stock) for £70 on the YP400 tariff.

On the orange contracts i have seen they say you cannot drop to a lower tariff until 120 days have elapsed eg 4 months+8 months
If you drop tariff before 120 days then the 12 month contract restarts at the date you drop the tariff eg 3 months+12 months

Hmmm, mobileshop.com always say stupid things especially when they have'nt got the goods. they did the same thing when the P800 was coming out, but as soon as they got the stock the price shot sky high, stuff em! plus orange claim that they do not implement charges for changing down tariffs after the first month they told that depends on the store where you brought the phone from, check the terms and conditions out first.

Not being funny but there is not really much from stopping a customer downgrade their tariff. Its the retails shop or outlet that loose commission. I think you can change the tariff after one month only.
Then it is worth while.

If i wait till my contract is up, cancel then start a new one then its 80 for phone, 4*50=200 minus 4*25=100 which i pay anyway,
Which gives a total of 180 over and above what i pay at the moment. No insurance on new contracts though so this would be another 60
