It started formatting the phone by itself? Does your phone wake you up at night wanting a conversation?

Jup well I couldn't press 'cancel' (cos there wasn't such button).
I turned my P800 off and back on and the same screen came up then I pressed 'ok'

After 3 weeks with the phone I still haven't been able to reproduce the "out of memory" issue. This is what I have done on a regular basis in hope that it would give me an error.

Routines: (all performed in one session and executed through Tracker - 2 hours)
1. Execute a 105min Video file from my memory stick and allow it to play for 45 minutes.
2. (Switch to) Open Opera and browse 8 sites. Some containing java scripts or mulitple frames.
3. (Switch to) Open Jotter and scribble a few notes
4. (Switch to) Open and run V-Rally for about 15minutes
5. (Switch to) record a 10 sec. video file with Communicorder.
6. (Switch to) IM+ messenger and logged on to AOL, ICQ, and Yahoo
7. (Switch to) IRC 3rd party progie and joined 2 channels (10 minutes)
8. (Switch to) Open and run Unrealplayer and allow a playlist with 5 mp3s to play straight through.
9. (Switch to) downloaded 8kb from Chatpen through BT connection and also ran a 2 min session of realtime handwritting capture.

I probably go through a number of these routines on a daily basis. I can say after 3 weeks I have not run into this problem. I never ran into memory problems with my P800 as well. I use to make it a practice to close the programs with Tracker on my P800, but now I don't even bother doing that with the P900. My internal memory is loaded with programs. The only files I run off of my stick are the video and mp3 files. Again, this has to be a bug found in a batch of P900 units released as of late. I only ran into memory problems with old my Cassiopeia years ago, but the problem was corrected in the later model upgrades. Has anyone else not run into memory problems????

The manual does say the apps are supposed to close on their own:

"The current application automatically closes and the data is saved when you return to the standby view or switch to another application"

doesn't that remove the point of multi tasking and easy switching, when you change to another program, the initial program stays open so you can switch back to it very fast, whereas if you were open up the program from new, it'd take a bit longer.

What versions are you running on your P900?? Mine still comes up with out of memory errors on simple tasks..... perhaps and upgrade is required?

I am also unable to UNINSTALL IM+.... refused to uninstall... tried installing again and then uninstalling.... doesnt work. It still appears in the installed apps view.... its hogging up about 1Mb of space which I want to free.....

fazzy, just delete the im+ folder and you'll have the space back. Also delete the install file in c/system/install.I do that on my p800(still waiting fore some money for p900 ) when an app does'nt want to uninstall and works great.
