Will nail polish remover get rid of the Orange startup screen?

What is the deal with Orange disfiguring every phone that comes through their hands? They should be reported to the RSPCP (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Phones).

I don't think they're as bad as Vodafone though. A friend of mine's got a Voda branded T610 and it's hideous what they've done with it compared to my Orange branded one.

This happening all over the world people, come on dig deep, give generously. Its only through your donations that we can stop this madness. These networks have been getting away with it for years.
Just £5 will buy enough nail varnish to perform corrective surgery to at least a dozen phones and restore some dignity to them.

Go on, just give us your f*****g money!

i tried the nail varnish trick on my p800 the orange logo came off as did the baby blue paint revealing the dark blue of the plastic!

if only the p900 flip was made from aluminium i would do it but as its plastic i am nervous.

Only going to try this if I see that another has done it already!
