Once you have made the connection via BT, and can sync contacts etc. using the SE tool (i.e. working as if it was in the cradle) then surfing is just a matter of opening Opera.
Getting the first bit to work may be a challenge, however, depending on what BT dongle you have...
I had to junk the sw which came with mine (a WaveLinker thing) and use another programme.
It took me about a week to sort out, and loadsa hassle.
Basically, pair the devices, open a serial connection from the PC end, connect using the SE software and you're away. It may well say the connection is lost, but ignore that - the P800 closes the PC instigated connection and creates its own.
I'll try and help if you have problems - good luck.

Quick update to say using BT to connect to a PC which itself is connected to broad band works a treat. Range of the long range Belkin BT dongle is not as good as I expected.

Dear Psikey,
do not know about such a small device, but there is an initiative going on aimed at persuading Psion Teklogix to consider releasing a Symbian Netbook Pro.
it may be of your interest to know that there is a “In favour of a Symbian os Option for the new psion netbook pro” petition going on at
http://www.petitiononline.com/nbookpro/petition.html
Please note that it has been promoted ONLY via word-of-mouth on the psion forums and newsgroups, as well as on many developers' epoc/symbian-related sites.
The spirit of the petition, once again, it is *not* against PT's decision of releasing a Psion netBook pro with Windows CE.net (which the Psion User Community do absolutely respect in full), but it is just in favour of developing a *second* OS option, that is a Symbian OS one.
with in mind the above, we are committed to ensure that the petition gets the maximum possible awareness among developers, software house representatives, software integrators, VARs and resellers as well as power users and enthusiasts in order to gather the maximum support. at the time of writing, the number of endorsers is very close to quota 2150 and the number is steadily growing.
For further information about how we decided to start a petition, you might find interesting reading the original psionplace thread:

all the very best

I can clarify that Fear Factors method works a treat (had to translate a little for XP speak).
However when I go out of range & then back I have to restart the connection at the PC end, could this not be done automatically or from the phone end?

yes you're right, I found a program that can do the trick.
It scans for your P900 (or P800) and connects again if you get in range.
I haven't figured out how to get it to work, and I don't have the url at hand.
I'll post it tomorrow so you all can give it a go.

Okay,
this is the one url that I was talking about, further discussion about this issue goes on
here.
I couldn’t get it to work because I could not find this software; "Widcomm BTServer Spy Lite"
It didn't really matter to me because I hardly ever use it, but if anybody can find out where to find it I would be very happy.
