> Alarm when silent?

@macguyver:
yes I know, BUT, consider this: if you set an alarm you want to wake up. I am not talking about reminders which should be silent when the phone is on silent mode e.g in a meeting. But to turn down the ringer volume, the message volume, the alert volume and everything before going to sleep, then turning it on again when you wake up is a lot of hassle. Also the T610 can wake me when in silent mode, it doesn't alert on SMS, Call NOR reminder entry, but the alarm still sounds. I think either it would be good to configure the silent mode to sound alarm or have it on it the first place. Who would set an alarm for the middle of the meeting?

As I said, it'd be a nice feature (I'm all for more features/choices). It just strikes me that this is a fairly specialized feature, and something that only some people would even understand/use.
Personally, when I tell the phone to be silent, I don't want it making noise, period! The reason I put it to silent is because I'm somewhere where I don't want to be disturbed, or to disturb others. The distinction between alarms and reminders is pretty insignificant to me.
