the T65 hasn't got that good buttons. navigation key is cool, but the rest is rather hard to press.
yea how about a T310 for you mum?
it worked here (update form a T200, she used that phone to call and to SMS, now she's getting the hang of wap and MMS)

T100 is definately the way to go.
T105 is virtually identical, the only real update was internal components, to reduce costs to SE a little and be able to keep the production line open.
T105 is a little faster than the T100, but I doubt your mother would notice

If your mother can handle the T28 text, she will have no problem with the T100.
My recommendation is T100, cheap, simple, light and stylish.

just spoke to her and she said that her phone is dead... hmm...
so im fixing up my t68i and then...
either give it to my dad so he gives his nokia 2100 to my mum
or
give it to my sister who gives the 8310 to my dad, my dad gives the 2100 to my mum.
i've given up trying to convert them to se. brainless utter fools!!! oh i do love them though
