I have to agree though. I still have a Z5 and a Z7 and was playing with them just this weekend and they are still good phones and still sell for 30-60 pounds on ebay

i dont know why sony+ericsson didnt make a phone like z5..imagine z5 with all this function AND WITH ITS FUNCTIONS !!-if we r looking time and tehnology, z5 was in front of time..that cant be happen today with new phones..but, money money money..i paid my t610 1 year ago, cca 450 EUR, now i can get 130 EUR for it..and new k700 is about 500 EUR here on black market ..when will be in shops, it will be about 450EUR..and z5 i paid 450EUR, too, but 2 years it was the best phone and i didnt need to buy another one..
p.s. MASSEUR, i got your message--sory, i didnt know that only SE topics are there..i wasnt here for long time..i know a lot about mobiles, know many tricks but dont know is it 100% legal and discret site to write all of them..some of them are very, very hot..regards

well the Z700 came very close to being an
version of the Z7 but it was canned at the last minute, even after some prototypes were made.
the only reason I was looking at the phones and checking ebay prices this weekend was because I was thinking about clearing out some old phones but I just didn't have the heart to do it

I am after one of these. I absolutely love the design. There is a rarer one called the MZ5 (I think) for which came external speakers just like the Walkman ones today. Funky!

Never heard of this model. Will look into it. Haven't really looked into many standalone Ericsson or Sony phones. Maybe it's time I take a look into the past. I like the answering machine feature. That is in the new Samsung D900. Sony Ericsson can add that. SE just needs a few tweaks and minor additions to be really supreme...
