docc the black line is very much visible even after u take pictures..if u really wanna see that ,just send some pics from phone to ur PC and open them in an image editor
I dont think it has anything to do with phones in India as all P900's are infact from Sweden.

I doubt if this has to do with firmware version and looks more like a HW issue.

Tuk a video n no black line here too....i presume it jus has sumthin to with the viewfinder which i think can be sorted out with a FW upgrade.
I remember earlier when i had a P800 i used to read on the forums where a lot of ppl complained abt white screens on their viewfinder and white lines and so on which all got solved with FW upgrades.
The only thing really bothering me is the audio-video sync problem....u have to have a very keen eye to notice this difference. R u by chance having it too or anyone else for that matter.
BTW....my P900 is made in Sweden and it has R3A.
Hoping that FW upgrade shud fix all these troubles.

l bought mine from expansys usa and its made in france firmware R3A. My issue is that there is a white line always apparent in video mode that goes vertically down the center(pictures dont have this issue). It appears not only in the viewfinder, but also when I play back the videos. Im debating whether or not to send it back since if i send it back it could be awhile b4 l get a replacement(expansys is out of stock) l dont know what to do!

well i called up SE n got my phone replaced....both problems solved....now dont have either of these problems.
seems to be hardware problem. also my P900 used to creak a bit from the lower side on applyin some pressure....the new one is rock solid.
Way to go SE.
