T3 have a really good display (320*480) with incredibles colors. It also have integrated BT, and it's not very big. I will chose the Palm (but i love it ;-)) This message was posted from a T300

Apparently no bluetooth on the Treo, but doesn't it have an SDIO (like the XDA2) slot (?)... so it shouldn't be that hard to include it, albeit at extra cost... which also opens the possibility of WIFI and other stuff... not only that, but it means that when you are not using a BT or WIFI card in the slot, you can end that 128MB limit of the P900 once and for all... in so long as one doesn't mind paying a little bit of a premium for the higher capacity cards

I'm not entirely sure about SDIO on the Treo600....

As far as I'm aware, most, if not all bluetooth/WiFi SDIO cards have extra length compared to regular SD cards...

from what I have seen with the Treo600, SD cards are placed in a "cartridge" (as is the SIM) which is then loaded into the unit.

I don't think that it works without, although I could be wrong.

EDIT: Ok, the SD slot doesn't have a cartidge, but it is rounded more in the centre, so it may not fit...
it also means that you have a big stick coming out of the top

I sold my P800 and got an ETEN p300 instead. It's a pocket PC phone and much smaller than the XDA II. Its the same lenght and thinkness as the P800 but a bit wider (larger screen). The Windows 2003 OS is better than the older versions... sure beats UIQ (In my optionion at least).

I have a P800 and a Palm T3.

For what you want I reccomend a Palm T3. The huge screen is excellent! If you like to read E-books the T3 is for you.
If your phone supports BlueTooth webbrowsing goes perfect and the mail client is very good too. There's very much good software for it and the processor is lightning fast.
One drawback is the short battery life but when you use it mainly as your private secretary it's no problem since you want to synchronise it everyday anyway, loading it in the process.

I love my P800 most but I'm a power user and use it for remote control of my PC and a lot of other communications tasks.
I use the T3 to play some games when I have to wait for something.

When I got my T3 I did some webbrowsing using the P800 as a phone via BlueTooth. To my surprise it was much faster then when browsing with the P800. Now figure that out!
