It's all just informative in the manual. Those r just lab-tests.dont just hang on to what the book says;u gotta understand thatin real life is different-live with it.and if u feel cheated, find a better phone.2 days of standby with 3hrs wap/sms/10mins talk is more than satisfying. However, how would you explain, that they have the same talk time for all bands on the specifications page? And it (talk time) stays the same for all bands per model.

I wouldn't. Much as the previous post says, I simply see what the phone does IRL. And I take that as fact. Not the manual, which is an optimistic guideline at best.

Okay. Let's put it this way — right now, I am the owner of T68i and its web-page states that it has 12h talk time and 390h standby time. On the other hand, T616 page says that T616 has only 5h talk time and 310h standby time.

Question: Does it mean that I will have about 3 times less talk time should I purchase T616?

Technically, yes, but if u try it in real life u might find out different cuz battery life depends on TOO MANY factors!! Just buy it , u won`t regret it and i bet it'll be on for at least 2 days with talking /sms/gprs on.
