I think masseurs comment was aimed at me, as I have my doubts as to arres credibility. also i do not believe in wishlists. If arre really were an insider he's know has got plenty in store.

Flip phones are nice.
I used to have one of them T-10's, before i accidentally lost it.

Besides from protecting the keypads and having microphones on the flip, i dont really know what other purpose does the flip do on a flip phone.
Clamshells are much better although a bit bulky; not unless SE comes up with another fantastic design or better use for the flip, then maybe it would find its way to customers.

the problem with flips is you can't get no bastard to warranty the flip mechanism. they claim "wear and tear" when it really comes under "defect of design" or possibly "goods not of merchantable quality". at least clams are more sturdy , kind of like a mini-laptop. clams are also (generally) more compact and convenient to answer incoming calls - the requirement to actually push a button to answer being soooo burdensome

i also think there would be a market for completely waterproof mobiles. i mean like a watch - full immersion in water not just splash resistant - for people who enjoy watersports (swimmers, yachtsman, lifeguards, surfers, beachgoers). it wouldn't need to be feature packed, but be more of a utility phone for basic calls/text and maybe a calendar. such a device would make a good rugged phone anyway because it would already be dust and grit resistant, and the water seal could be done in such a way to provide shock absorbance like those old waterproof walkmen.

Hi everyone!
Now I want to know what YOU would do if you was the CEO of SE.
Please write.
Personally I would force SE to make more modells in aluminium, a very small modell, rugged modell, 3g modell, edge modell, better screens, more memory, better cameras with built in flash and more available colours on the modells.
What do you think?

Cheers!
