Toomuch2am... i couldn't agree more... and much prefer the 10 times optical zoom (none of that digital crap) and 4MP output of my likkle SLR-like Olympus, to any camera phone at present (obviously) or any that may appear in the next 2-3 years at least (and then i bet they will still lack optical zooms and features to that level)
I too am happy with 2 different devices, for 2 different purposes... but would still use the cameraphone for laugh now and then...

Yeah. I was really disappointed wth the T610 camera after using the 3650. The P800 camera is quite good though.

I tested it (N3650/N7650 and P800) a couple of months ago.
N3650 n 7650 the same pics
P800 - when you look at the screen of the phone the pics are not that clear but when u download it to your computer the pictures of the P800 compared to the N7650/3650 is far. We used one object and took pics from all of these phones and the pics of the p8 on the computer shows more color and more depth. TEST IT 1st B4 you judge!!!!
The p900 camera and video rocks!!!!!! I got a 128MB and shoot videos all the time. Its smooth compared to a NOKIA 3650 that hangs all the time. Ive been shooting videos with my p9 this weekend and my friends brought their nokia units with them. the outcome - most of the pics that are being printed now are from MY p900. a lot better than the Nokia's. 2nd was p800 then the nokias!!!!! I wasnt the one who judged the pictures but my friends who had nokia phones. Theyre all getting a p900 now!!! heheheheh

but it is either the lens, or the chip, or whatever that screw things up. probably a combination.
blurry halos around the edges of the pic -> lens
darkness and color weirdness -> chip.
i would be happy if a phone camera could take nice pictures QUALITYwise. if they pop in a 3megapixel cc chip then that would make things even better. but just upping the pixels is not going to help a lot. you'll get a 5000x3000 print size photo of blurry halos and ugly colors

U cant't compare the z600's camera (288x352 pix) with the p900's(n3650 and 7650) VGA (640x480 pix)!!
I've seen samples from all the phones included in the discution and the p900 wins hands down.Hell,it's the best phone among the ones discussed here!

I've got an idea- why dont some people post some pics taken with the P900 etc... and some post pics from the Nokia's and lets SEE the difference.
