I have been charging my p800 from 8 to 12 hours depending on what time i'll sleep and get up in the morning and now for my p900 it works great. longer talk time, usage , standy hours. great!

I too have this problem. I switch between 2 batteries and often they are on charge overnight. The message will indicate "low battery" within a couple of hours. Turning phone off and on again helps for a bit but there is def a problem. Anyone found the anser yet?

Reading this
great article that another Esato member who's name I forget linked a while ago, it doesn't mention this need to fully charge it before use.
