I would say T610 has slightly better reception, I have had the same prob with my T68i in my house but since i have my T610 it has been better. I would think it will be down to the network you are on as well coz the reception is fine on another network but low on orange. I put my orange sim card in a nokia 3310 and the reception was low, wen i put a o2 sim in, there was full reception so it may dependant on network as well

here in France people are pretty disappointed by the T610 capabilities regarding GSM network ...

I just can say for what I personaly experienced:
- r380s in my house has a good sensitivity 5/5
- T610 I hardly catch the network 2/5
- Z600 quite a lower sensitivity than the r380s 5/5 - 4/5

Well thanks for the replies. I found someone with a 610 and he'll let me borrow his phone overnight to test it out. I'll be sure to post my results. If I cannot get my handset replaced, I'll probably move to a T630 or Z600 in the future.
