thats why its called THE LINK

They have all the missing links under one roof

Just stand outside and look through the window its like being at the zoo

Once in a while you may be lucky and may be served by the alpha male but most times you just get the drones

Hahaha. Dixons Store Group strikes again. I used to work for the company before it finally struck me that it's the biggest shambles in the UK. I don't recommend that anyone ever work for them.

I have to honestly say I've never heard of such rude behaviour in retail before. If you take this to their customer services department they should compensate you for the bad experience, and should even take disciplinary methods against the staff.

I work for Orange retail and we'd get severely punished for such rude behaviour.
I just had the worst day ever, and got complained at for customer faults. It's not so bad when it's one or two, but when you have ~20 people all complaining for their own mistakes and insulting you in the process, it gets a bit annoying. Especially when they blame you for something out of your own power.
ARGH!

dsg retails customer services sucks. dixons, pc world, the link etc. they all treat you with a surly attitude, then if you do decide to buy something, they try some seriously backhanded tactics to make you buy their insurance... i have had seriously bad experience with most mobile retailers, they just seem to want your money, then ta ta. maybe it goes with the territory...

I agree with you there. I don't sell like that though, because I know how it feels to be seen as a walking cashpile.

I sell based on what the customer wants, not what I think they should have cos it will make me richer. I can't stand it when someone sells a customer a phone which is way outspecced for what they need. It makes no sense, and they're less likely to come back.

That's why the customers who aren't quick to judge always rate me high on my customer service.

@Dazultra2000 i totally feel the same as you. i'm working for bt at the mo, and we're actively encouraged to sell as much as possible, no matter if the cust needs it or not. its something i'm really against and i'm getting major sh*t from my managers because i actually have morals... any jobs going at orange?
