> z600 vs moto mpx200

Well... I would wait for the new Motorola (which they plan to release around Feb 2004). Cause the new moto has het Windows Mobile 2003 OS & the MPx200 WM2002. I'm not sure if they will implement Bluetooth in the new phone, but you could always add a Bluetooth SD card.
I'm going to wait for the new moto. I've already played with the MPx200 (during a training) which is a great phone. But it's really up to u if u need all the features of the moto... Cause if not, the Z600 is a great phone 2!

You could actually buy a camera for the MPx200 (according to motorola). They're planning to launch a new line of accesoires, like a foldable keyboard.

On this site they mention that the new Motorola has bluetooth and a built-in camera!
So the only disadvantage (compared to the Z600) is the poor Batt. Life!

but the thing is i cant wait till feb 2004, otherwise, i would have no mobile phone to use except my current t68i, the contract of which is due this month.
but anyway, im not gonna fancy smart phone anymore at least for the next 12 months despite the fact the mpx200 is a great one.
personally, i dont think the technique or the market of smart phone is mature enough. so im gonna take z600, i think, probably my next phone will be a smart one, cos mpx 200 really impresses me, and the price is totally reasonable in comparison with the nokia trash.
what really annoys me is u do not have much choice of the covers in uk. is this part of the market policy of se? so far as i know, in east asia, most of z600 r sold with blue and stripe covers, which i think are really good.

Well, here in holland you can get the Z600 with the Blue & Coloured stripe covers. Well, you are right about the matureness of the Windows Smartphones. The reason that the MPx200 is not out yet is because of software problems. Here in Holland at the airport we'll get the MPx200 before the other phoneretailers should get it.. And we have a special price of € 499,- The downside was that motorola promised us the MPx200 in November... We've actually printed thousands of special offer books (November & December) with that phone on promotion...

Yes it is possible to use MSN through GPRS, it hardly uses any data.. So it's a nice feature..
The phone is NOT out yet, due to a software problem... It's probably in the brochure cause they expected the phone already.
