Is the jog dial working at all with the flip removed, or is it only in a certain direction it doesn't work?

Yeah, oddly enough after playing about with it for a while last night to get it working, I gave up and decided to try my hand at DVD ripping for the P900. Just before I went to bed I checked the phone to switch it off and the lock has re-appeared!

Now just to get the jog dial working properly in flip removed and I'm happy

Not so happy now - I assumed backup/restore would backup my pics and videos, but I've lost them all! I had some great pictures and videos I took at Christmas, can't believe I've lost them all

johnmcl7,

I have the same problem, my key lock option has disappeared. I can't find any option to turn it back on.

I've try ticking the auto key lock option but that doesn't do anything.

I will try a master reset when I back up my phone tonight.

Here's a question for you...

If I need to lock the screen in flip-off mode but can't be bothered to take the stylus out, is there a way of doing this via the scroll wheel?

Without touching the lcd with me greasy mitts?

Thanks
Ady

Push the jog wheel up (towards) then in.

I upgraded the firmware on my phone and the key lock is back! Hopefully it wont disappear again. It was annoying having to turn my phone off when I put it in my pocket.

BTW I tried cleaning the contacts before I upgraded, it didn't help.

yes, i had the same problem, it is somthing to do with the anoying dynamic menus on the menu button. Mine went for 2 days and then appeared again. Another thing it does is change the button for speeker phone when in a call (which i use alot in my car). If you press call then menu and 6 it works but as soon as the call connects it becomes 7 or 8 on the menu. Very anoying.
