Bookmark topic
I just went and bought a p900 from the o2 store in Hull today under this deal.
Brilliant! Although I got the last one in stock...
The case is unbranded, but it appears to have o2 startup/shutdown screens, whats that all about?

Could be worse
You could have orange startup/shutdown orange branding and a locked phone
The O2 startup/shutdown dont seem so bad now does it

After all these speculations, can you really downgrade before the 3 months time scale? I bought my

P900 yestersay from CPW where they price matched the now famous O2 400 xnet but been told that through CPW is a minumum of 6 months before you cam actually downgrade!
Perhaps it's the revenue they're getting. Anyway. I will give it a go to downgrade my O2 tariff where I don't use it as only to get the P900 for free.

Ask CPW to show you the written terms & conditions about tariff downgrading restrictions.

Yes, you can downgrade after three months
I was considering getting CPW to price match, but there didn't seem to be much point when I thought about it!!

Jah
What do you meant? Is it true I can downgrade after 3 months? As far as I'm concern, it's stated change of tariff only after 6 months on the invoice.
I will definitely try to downgrade as there's no point to have all these won't be use free minutes anyway.

According to pachy (well informed Esato member) CPW do not seem to have written T&Cs on the minimum period you need to remain on a tariff. See this
thread about CPW and O2 and Orange tariffs.

I just asked a good mate of mine about the startup/shutdown screens and apparently you can remove them (and replace them with your own if you like).
Now there's a bonus

@electric Your wrong. You can only change them to standard via a non O2 f/w upgrade.
Bloke @ o2 shop said downgrade in 3months. Will try asap couldnt downgrade VIA O2.com
270 though BARGAIN
Now how much to post it to vegas? (daft yank agreed to additional £35 postage charge) Got 550 for phone. Now let me abuse my 400 free minutes.
