I had both, but I must say that:
SE P900 probably the best phone in the world!
...and the force is with the P900

Not to say that the P800 is a bad phone. But since they are a year seperated yhe P900 is of course better.

Why do folks keep saying the only difference is the screen and camcorder app, these are only two of the many features and functions lacking in the P800, the P900 has it all and so much more, plus you can pick up a brand new P900 from free on contract so whats the point buying the old P8 model..

As a stepping stone the P800 is still a cracking phone to purchase
All the P900 does is FINE tune all the functions of the P800 for those who want perfection

There has been a lot of talk in various threads about how the P800 is inferior to the P900. The P900 is better than the P800, however, lets quantify that statement. If the P900 is the best there is then the P800 is definitely the 2nd best there is. The P800 is still a crushingly good phone. It does just about everything the P900 can and is still a product to be desired. Just because there is something new on the market doesn't make it crap. The P800 is a classic, it is an amazing device and should be looked upon as such.
The choice, ultimately is with the customer, but eithe rphone is very good. Less complaiing and more enjoying the device would be a good idea in some quarters.

Also, remember that not everyone can get a P900 on contract. Heck, the P800 is not even out for most people in the US "on contract"!
Some of us buy our phones sim free from overseas. The price is quite high but we deal with it.
So you lucky ones, think about how those of us less fortunate can upgrade to your situation.

I finally managed to get a brand new P800 at an extrmelly low price where I would have to pay an additional 500 Euros for the P900 (Think I'm gonna get it at the same low price next year when the P1000 will be out!!!)
But finally the phone sucks!!!
I don't know why you need the stylus that bad.
As I am Greek, I have inserted most of the names in Greek Language and as the menu is in english the only selected language for the phone catalog is English so I have to drag the jog up and down all the time!
I try to install the Greek language but it won't allow me for some reason (maybe because the most updated greek language uses the 2A firmware while the phone has the 2F)
T9 is missing and breaks my nerves!
Jesus.... is there ANY software to get to the menus of P900 so that I can have Greek language menus, catalogue and T9?????????

I was going for a P800 until I saw this picture:

Completely convinced me to go for the P900 instead!
