for the moment (and probably for long time) this is not the case.
The only real differences are design, FTF screen, and (better) radio module.

The firmware for T630 and T610 might not be the same. Sure it's almost the same hardware. But the T630 uses a TFT screen and the software might have special routines for the TFT screen as it probably has special software routines for the STN screen on the T610. I doubt that the same software would work on both phones.
Sure a different software with the T630 stuff could be made for the T610.
According to a friend of mine who works at SE the T610 and the T630 is supposed to attract different customers due to the design differences, the T630 shouldn't be considered as a T610 replacement.

I've tried to flash T630 firmware into T610 already. Everything works fine except the display which remains blank.
