@Vermin -
your tag sais you joined in May of 2003.. Mine shows I joined in March of 2003 .. However, you speak as if you are a seasoned vet that knows everyone here.. I do remember what it was like before the likes of you joined this forum... I did have a P800 back then to talk about back then and I don't remember the like you spending all day to simply reply to posts with nothing but useless junk and negative comment....
However, being that you clearly didn't join Esato until 2 months after I did how could you possibly shed light to us as to who is good and who is not???? And you have the nerves to tell other members to get out.. So as YOUR elder in this forum I cast you out..
@Starchildren2004 -
I am guessing you are referring to the 128mb DUO selects.. There is no official projected date for them.. However, it is speculated to be Q1 of next year..

the problem is big feat noobs hate me because i always diss them for asking basic dumb questions easily answerable by the instruction manual and you on the other end just post bull shit. And i only post when i am on the train or bus via p900 or some times when i browse the net my psots are alway interesting and riveting so they stick in your head so it appears i am always here.. Why does it matter when and how i post? and i do have a great life. Much better than pretending i am driving home to pick up my p900 eh big feat

Well, what was a further clarification of the memory stick issue (though i doubt it will end further discussion on the matter, unfortunately), has now been somewhat ruined by the further comments which are not at all related with the topic...
I wonder, does Esato have an "ignore" button... or would they please consider incorporating one, it would help this forum... honestly... (or an "automatic muting" of various members would also serve this purpose)... and all of this "i've been here longer than you" crap etc. etc. etc... please will you lot re-read what you type before you post it for pity sake, if only you knew how you portray yourselves... embarassing really !
On the original issue though, I have just received my sparkly new dark(er) blue 128mb duo, and am informed by the packaging that it is faster than traditional memory sticks... however, the device it is used in will determine this... So, does the P900 allow this supposed higher speed, it certainly doesn't seem much quicker being empty at present, than an all but full 32mb lighter blue one... (that sort of answers my own question i suppose!)
On Sony's approach to all of this... I also fear that the P900 will never get any thing higher than 128mb (although I don't think this truly bothers me too much)... Sony appears to have made quite an effort to get the speed up on existing duos, to be more in line with duo pros, which seems a pointless move, moreso when it is done in a seemingly different way (parallel on duo, serial on duo pro)... why not just ditch further advancements of the normal duo... clearly because some devices cannot use the Pro by the looks of it... all of this in spite of their press release stating that duo pros would be ideal for use in small devices, "including" cellular phones! wd Sony !
