before I knew better I had a Nokia 8850 which I bought cos it was a poser phone but it was a biyatch to use and not even as good as the motorola I gave it up for. Then I got the T39 and never looked back - then T68i now P800. But why oh why couldn't they have put T9 on it? I'll upgrade to a P900 but have 6 months of contract left to run

p800 is my first mobile ever. just bought the best phone on the market i was believing and you know i wasn't mistaken! but i think sony ericsson has at least one minus: bad politics to the older models' owners (see difference between p800 and p900 is not as big they shouldn't provide the support for p800 and should discontinue it :<)

I see the discussion has been moving along swiftly my faithful ones. In my time I have owned several Nokia phones, none of which can compare to my SE phones.
Now I can hear your gasps of amazement, that your spiritual leader should have owned not one Nokia, but several. Fear not my children for I have the faith and the willpower to handle such instruments of evil. In order to protect you all I had to understand the nature of the beast, which meant travelling as far to the Dark Side as I could. My faith is too strong for Nokia to corrupt and I am now able to absolve other sinners. To all who have sullied their hands with the rot that is Nokia, I bless you and release you from your hell. Go forth my children, spread the word and bring back lots of nubile girls for your spiritual leader to help him with ... administrative tasks

I've been using the

P800 for 2 weeks and all ready want to upgrade to the

P900. Is there any major advantage in upgrading? Apart from the very sexy looks of the 900

@ speedooh
What a handy article. The P900 is just more user friendly then, has a few extra bits but nothing major as I thought. They did mention a replacement for the P900 being released mid 2004. Upgrade is due in August so I think I'll wait and see what

release in the year.
Is it me or do phones go out of date far too quickly now?

The P800 actually stayed at the top for a long while in mobile phone terms. Most mobiles do become obsolete pretty quickly, I think the P800 owes its longevity to the fact that it was so far ahead of everything else.
