> P900 and Hbh-60 Voice Dialing
Bookmark topic
Greetings everyone...
I am back here with the result of my test with P900 & HBH-60.
Up until right now, the problem is still there. P900 and HBH-60 can 'know' each other and but voice command failed. The solution is still be like this:
- Turn off the P900 and HBH-60, without disabling the Bt service and voice command settings.
- Turn on the P900 and HBH-60.
- Retry the voice dial.
I wonder if SE know such problem and they are finding any solution to that. Have any of you send a report on that problem to SE?
Regards,
T-Shirt.

Hi folks, Somehow from SE website I read that one of the supported Bt headset for P900 is HBH-65 and I just thought that HBH-60 would fit as well. Please SE hear us and solve such problem which I believe is software issue rather than hardware.

Hi deevonn, Although you direct your question to bigfeat but I would like also to try to answer your question. I wear glasses and HBH-60 fit to my ears (either left or right ear).

Hi,
Can we keep this thread with the P900 and Hbh-60 Voice Dialing issue. If you would like to change the topic, please start a new thread, and i'm sure that issues between glasses and headsets has already been discussed in the forum. Please use the search function.
Sorry, but i dont mean to be rude, but some of us have problems and would like replies regarding the thread topic, not another subject.
Thanks.

@deevon -
That's a tought question. You eliminated one of the only BT headsets that was designed to eliminate cables (ie HBH-200) and the 'over the ear' hook style. Allthough the SE HBH-60/65 series have ligther hooks they do and will sometime get in the way of your glasses. For example, its pretty difficult to remove your glasses while keeping the headset on your ear. In addition, you don't get that extra snugness around your ear. The HBH-200 does get away from the back of the ear notion, but then again there are cables you have to deal with. I sometimes have the hook of my glasses catch the cable of that headset just as I pull it off. Try doing that with any cabled headset and you will see what I mean. Forget about the Jabra headset. Nokia and Motorolla are no treat either since style was their primary focus and not quality. I don't even use them any more.
The thickness of the ear hook of your glasses will always take away a bit of the snugness that you would have with any of those headsets. Thereby, making them a bit looser on your ear and increase risk of them falling off when leaning over shaking your head really fast. So to answer your question the HBH-60/65 would be your closest best bet (quality/style/comfort) if you don't want to spend the extra money on a BS Digital. Surprisingly enough the BS Digital is the hardest headset to even force to fall off while wearing glasses or a baseball cap.. I have jumped up, down, and around like I was in a grunge concert and it will not fall off. It is super comfortable ear wear. However, I have never been able to produce the same results with any of the other headsets mentioned above. They all eventually fall off within the first 45 secs.
@Bas-
As far as keeping this thread in topic.. I truly believe these issues are a function of the SE HBH headsets as well. The reason why I state that I that I have not had any dialing issues with non-SE BT headsets. The HBH-60 does haywire every once in a while. I was told to simply reboot the phone when it wouldn't dial. It's an obvious BT technicality issue that most BT enbaled phones have one time or the other. However, again I have not experienced any of the dialing phenomena with non-SE BT (ie BS Digital) headsets and P900.
