Hmm..unless someone esle can think of some other ideas I think the best thing to do is to back-up your data (after an unistall of Opera and deletion of all files as previously suggested) and format your c: drive, restore and try to re-install opera on the d: drive. I am thinking that you may have corrupted memory on the c: drive. Only do this if you have done a back-up and restore before and you know this operation works well.

but did you do as I said?
install on C: first and then on D:?
The other guy that I know (with the same problem) solved the problem this way.
btw, you must uninstall the version of opera that works!!!, so make sure you have 6.01 installed (that one worked for you, was it?)... then remove everything

You only have 2.2mb free on the c: drive? Err...Opera will not run in this little free memory. Is there some data you can move to the d: drive to free-up the c: drive. Ideally you should have about 8mb free on the c: drive. When I use Opera (same version as you are trying to use) it can use 4mb of RAM!
Sorry but...i install opera at D:
Normally this mean that there is not necessary to have a lot of free space on C:
Why i need to have so many free space on C: for opera.
And finally....what kind of browser is this that need 4mb to work ???

I do not know of the technical reasons as to why Opera uses upto 4mb on my p900. I suspect it needs space for the Small Screen Rendering technology. You do know that the PC Internet Explorer will use a lot lot more than 4mb on your PC and you are asking Opera to do a similar job on a P900 therefore it is not surprising. As I said if you do not have say 8/6mb free on your P900 c: drive you will have probelms with apps that need a lot of RAM like Opera.

I don't have too much free space to install it on C:
And why to install it on C: ?
And, as opera site says....install opera v6.20 to D: (uninstall the previous first)

i have on C : 750kb for contacts photos,
450 kb for contacts
234kb for opera (after delete everything)
201kb for messages and
61 kb for internet.
All the rest is files from phone appilications (and not too much) and folders&files from applications that i install in D:
This is smart phone

I think it could have something to do with the configuration of opera (opera.ini etc.), but I'm not quite sure.
@ Grokos
Another thing you can try is, when you have completely removed opera from your P900... reboot first, then install opera 6.20
But if you don’t want to take a good advice (and yes it really worked), sort it out by yourself (is it so bad to move some stuff so that you can install on C: ?)

I really think you should think about storing data files that can be stored on the d: drive on the d: drive and creating more space on the c: drive (use a trial file manager from
here ). Also I think you should look at the FAQ and forums at the Opera site
here as there are examples of other people having a similar problem to yours.
Edit: the solution at the Opera forum looks similar to the one suggested by Fear-factoR
