I read somewhere that Ericsson (and so SE) need a "notification" called SEEK that is part of the sim's program.
So i tried to clone my sim.. but also the cloned one has the same problem.
But.. in the clonet i can configure how many sms can store... i set this value to "1" so all the sms now are stored on the phone memory.

you mean that if I fill the the sim with a lot of dummy sms, when the sim memory is full, the messages will go to thephone memory instead????

Do you think it will work?

I don't want to clone my sim, you think there is a way to modify this number in the sim without cloning?

I tested the same on a t39 with tim sism messages goes directly to the sim memory...

what about other brands???

I owned N7650 last year, but I remember to have more than 1000 sms received automatically opn the phone....

No, you can't modify it on the original sim.
But you can save sms on the sim and don't leave any space, phone shows you the "sms memory overflow" icon but you can reach sms because they are stored on the phone.
I'm trying this way since 2 days, sms arrives and phone works fine.
