And I agree with the prious posts, you have the right to have a new phone as this one seems to have hardware faults whitout paying something as this is clearly not your fault

@hkk04:
I had the same "blue line" problem with my P900. I informed the local

service centre and took it over to them. They replaced it without asking a single question...its now well known that the early batch of P900s had this problem. Also, a software update will NOT fix it.
So, if you've bought your P900 with bill/warranty etc. from the dealer, you're entitled to a FREE replacement of the entire phone itself and not the just the camera part. If the dealers don't listen, raise a storm and they'll do what they should've done in the first place...replace your phone.

It is definetly up to the retailer to take care of the faulty phone.
Don't let them tell you that they are not responsible. I work for orange retail and in my experience we would have to replace the handset in store if it was within 28 days, howver, anything outside that period is only covered by the

manufacturers warranty.
We would then send it of to our

repair agent (Celestica) on behalf of the customer.
They may not replace it instore but i would definetly be demading it sent of to

for repair. They then have 28 days to fix it or they will supply you with a like for like replacement.
Let me know how you get on.

thank you all for your replies.
Sorry for not being clear on certain things:
i live in Lebanon and i had my p900 sent to me from Dubai,UAE since the local Lebanese "destributors" not "dealers" (SE has their regional office in the UAE) will not get the p900 till the end of the month.
That is why they won't replace it but they will fix it. I contacted the UAE office & i am still waiting.

Almost every P900 in Russia has the same bug...
I don't really want to claim for a warranty, because that line isn't a problem for me...anyway, it isn't good for such an expensive gadget...
Check the picture made using my P900..there is a black line, too.

Well..... I wonder if waiting for a
GOOD phone won't be the wiser choice in the long run, rather than settling for a not-top-notch phone.
