yes I use the O2 WAP GPRS account 2 connect as this is free ala O2 Active till end March it works 4 both Wap & Internet using inbuilt browser but doesnt wrk 4 Opera or Agile Messenger

Well, I sort of think I've got it working.....


As I said deleted the stuff from my phone and got 02 to send the two sms auto setups to my phone.

1: o2 wap gprs
2: o2 mms

All I did was to add the proxy settings to the o2wap gprs settings and it seems to work in opera now.

I think when opera started up and asked what connection I wanted toi use, the one I selected was o2 wap gprs gprs

Dunno where the second gprs bit came from but basically I can browse the web in opera. Does this mean it's working ???
Sily question but I'm not sure how I know if it's still feeding via their wap portal (or whatever) or it's real pure internet.

Go to www.o2.co.uk and get the BASIC WAP settings sent to you phone too....OPERA does work with PAYG o2.....
Use the basic wap dial up to go online and test OPERA.....
