I have again problems to sync with IR.
I installed Spyhunter to get rid of spyware that was supposed to disturb USB sync with PC suite. I thougt that everything would work after taking away hundreds of spyware on the computer. Instead nothing worked. Not even IR that worked before. With Spyhunder came also Enigma Popup Stop and those are the only big installations I did before this problem came up again.
If you read my last two posts in the thread in fact I had this problem with IR but then I got it to work. Stupidly I didn't write how it was resolved and I don't remember.
When I try to sync nothing happens. The text say "initialization" (in italian Inizializzazione in corso - I don't know exactly what the english version is, maybe "connecting") and nothing happens. I can copy files from the phone so it is connected.

So I uninstalled PC Suite 2.1.1
I installed DCOM98 version 1.3 (as written under notes on Sony Ericsson global support area)
I installed PC Suite for P900/P800 2.3.1
I uninstalled Spyhunter
I uninstalled New.net
This is a program that probaly was installed with kazaa so that could be what gives me problems.

I downloaded and installed a program called Ad-Aware 6.0. I suppose it does the same as SpyHunter? Anyway it found a lot of suspected files and took them away.
I have as well uninstalled italian PC suite and installed english PC suite so I can refer better to this forum.
I want to divide this topic in two since the problem with sync can appear on "Phone Connection Link" - that is this topic and my problem with USD/cradle (P900 / PC Suite / "Phone Connection Link" stuck in "Connecting" stage) - but as well on "Synchronization in progress" with "initializing" by the contacts symbol - that is my problem with IR (i made a new topic for this one).

I installed the drivers for the DSS station (cradle) found on Sony Ericsson hompage.
No difference - always stuck on connecting

I have installed the sync program for my old R380. It works to have both programs (R380=Communicaton Suite / P900=PC suite) installed. R380 syncs with cable and P900 with IR (USB still doesn't work).
I tried to connect the P900 with cable but it doesn't work.
