@judge I hear what your saying but the fact remains they look like bricks. I have seen some very nice looking standard digital cordless phones which look very nice and whislt I hear what your saying about htem being reliable and not designed as a fashion icon I still have to say I don't think it hurts to make a product pleasing to the eye.

How about this to testify about the revolutionary Ericsson concepts in innovations?

@davieboi: you do have a point - if I were to buy a DECT for home, I myself would be interested for it to look pleasent to me. But it's a matter of taste, after all: some like them, some do not. As the Latins say: de gustibus... Since I've used Ericsson since the beginning of time, I found their design extremely appealling. Even compared to the more popular Panasonic or Siemens, I'd still go for Ericsson.

The funny thing about the models I showed you is that they are business ONLY: I actually called the Ericsson representative in my country and asked if they could be used on normal digital landlines (as most DECT can be used). The answer they gave me was that these models were only usable on Ericsson platforms: hence the impressive specs - like the 1,000 numbers downloadable phonebook. I obviously don't know about products from other manufacturers, but I wonder how many can actually beat those specs!
