Do I have to do any settings for the clock to come on? I have never seen that clock. I have the latest software version R2B02 installed via the online update service.

Control panel / Display settings / Power saving (or something similar, have swedish language on mine)

There you can choose between off / blank screen / clock and set the time between 1 and 30 min

I just read this thread regarding online firmware upgrade in order to get the larger standby clock.

How many people here have done this online upgrade? I have a few questions.

I have this version
Organiser - CXC162025 R1A08
CDA - CDA16203/11 R1A08

1. is it pretty safe to upgrade online?
2. is it best to select manual verification mode or recovery mode?
3. is the new clock twice the size of the old one? would someone please post a picture of the new large size clock here
