What a silly topic.

No, so many years later, NOONE would deny, AMIGA was the
WINNER in that battle. AtariST got just succesful in professional music.
Amiga will be remembered forever as a trendsetter for a whole generation. Who will remember AtariST ?

Yes, many will, but when ST will be forgotten, people will still remember Amiga. In schools they will tell: " In ancient times kids started to identitfy with a computer system for the very first time when the incredible Amiga came up. Bla...bla....workbench....bla....
GUI...bla....and by the way, there had also been another system called AtariST, but it could not do anything against victory of Amiga"

The Amiga had better sound hardware, better graphics hardware with the coprocessor - I always hated it when you got a crappy port from the Atari ST - you could see by the crappy graphics

I would LOVE to see an Amiga emulator - the more classic games we can get onto the Px00s, the better

PS. When you speak to Sprawl, could you ask him very nicely if he has any time to upgrade EScummVM to support MP3 sounds? So I can convert the 150+mb SOU files on the talkie versions to 50mb .SO3?
