The log files gorne because I installed the new PC-client.
It might not work with the new client.
The first time I tryed it it tyred to download the
orange software again so I deleted it then ran it again
and it started to flash the phone with no F/W in the
software-data folder so I stoped it and put the
new F/W back in the folder and restarted it.
This time it got to 4% then said it lost the connection
to the phone. I restarted it again and it worked fine.
I was supprised myself cuz I didn't think it would work.
SE might have changed somthing in the new PC-client
to stop this now though.
I have a new log file now form when I tryed it again
maybe you could use this file on yours and try changeing
the IMEI number to your own one.
My new log file also has five lines witch say
signature invalid.

hmm...I kind of thought you'd done it that way. My theory is that as long as the f/w is fine on the phone and you use recovery, it checks for the CDA number and you can't install any other CDA. However, when the phone is screwed up, which I guess what happened when you stopped the f/w download after 4%, it cannot communicate with the phone and therefore doesn't know which CDA is on there. If you then put the 003/2 firmware in the folder, it will just force that f/w onto the phone.
However, I'm too chicken to screw up my f/w in order to test that theory...

If you go to the yahoo group in the next 1.5 hrs you can get a encrypted session ID that will allow you to unbrand your phone and obtain the latest firmware. User called Jan is providing IDs in the Chat room. Look at the File ssection for instructions on how ro use the Unbranding s/w. It works I unbranded my Orange P900.
