if those phones are running on CDMA2000, it should work on networks that support CDMA200 instead of WCDMA....
I-Mode being a content provision service is secondary. Anyone can confirm this?

What are SE playing at, release them in europe and they'd beat nokia hands down. Everyone would have a SE. I mean those phones are lovely.

The reason that they dont release it in europe is because we are so cheap that we wont pay so much for the latest futures. the japanese phones is much more expensive and therfor they can have futures like that.

I really hope something like that will come to Europe in a short while. Somebody said that Europeans are not willing to pay much for mobile technology. I have to disagree with that.
First of all the sales of the P800-P900 and Nokia 6600 will show that this is a market worth exploring, and second I guess that they should first give a chance for us to buy such a phone and then decide that it is not worth doing it.
Anyway, I'll keep hoping that the spread of UMTS technology (in a couple of dozen years

) will make such phones available in Europe as well.
I just hope that UMTS, when it will be released, will not have the same differences between japanese and european standards, this could lead to the closing of the tech gap between the two markets.

No, seriuosly. Could anyone tell me if the UTMS standard (and by this I mean the networks) will be the same all over the world?
Anytime I ask a question I get the feeling someone will tell me "go and use search" although I usually do that before I post. It's beginning to be a nightmare...
Anyway, does someone have an answer to that?
Would be cool. Thanks a lot
