I don't know, I've tried AIM and Yahoo IM on the WAP browser. It is just too slow for me. And with the SMS Yahoo IM and SMS AIM, I can always QUICKLY review all of my previous messages, without loading any pages. But I am glad that the WAP IM's work for you!!!
Oh, one thing that SMS IM'ing can do that WAP can't do; if you have an alert set on your computer to tell you when someone signs on, you will be sent an SMS when they come online! Cool!!!
