I would have suggested this from the start, but I've got a suspicion it can't be done (without getting into the phone too much code wise)

Change the flash rate/colour/led whatever after a message/call comes in so if you are not near the phone and you come back to it, you can see there's something you've missed without having to manually prod the phone back to life and look at the screen.

My T610 was the same and I can't for the life of me think why SE feels it's great to blank the screen and give ZERO indication you've missed anything.

The P900 has even less of an excuse, you have TWO leds for christ sake, and one can even do 2 colours !

Just to clarify any ideas I take on will be completely free! I have no intention of charging for anything I develop I do it for fun not profit! There have been a number of good sugestions and I certainly will be looking into the feasibility of a few of them. When I make a start I will post a link to the applications!

Thanks again

- i would also vote for a shopping list feature.

- coming from sony clie pda, i am missing the 4 user-defined fields in the contacts like i have in outlook; but this would not be possible to have i think ..

Corny... a freeware program called jzip handles zip files and compression, i dont know if its the type of compression tool you are after though since you have mentioned stacker, which is a different beast altogether...

NSherm... I meant no offence, and think you deserve credit for not requiring a monetary incentive for your work... I was just mainly criticising the price of applications compared to what they actually do, suggesting that I for one would buy an awful lot more for the phone if they were at prices I felt to be appropriate... £30+ for some phone software is a little comical...

On another note, I have noticed something sorely lacking for the P900... and that would be a ZX Spectrum emulator... I used to have one on my series 5 and it quickly became the most used program i had for it... a great little time waster... ok so the 3d games and stuff are impressive, but the classics are better for such a phone... and to make things worse, Series 60 devices (mostly nokias by the way!), have a spectrum emulator already, so we are sorely lacking in comparison...

Also, picking up from another topic, something that works in flip closed mode would be great... would make the spectrum emulator much more playable i am sure...

So get working!.... hehehe
