The only thing you can do is to insist and be very direct with them that what they claim that you have done to your phone pressing the screen its not true. Tell them since you have paid this big amount of money for purchasing this phone you dont play with the phone and screen and you pay extra attention for your mobile condition. Make them understand that for this important amount of money spent for their product, you deserve a better service and not assumptions from their point of view regarding your mobile condition. You know better than them how you treat your phone and tell them as well that this is unacceptable from a company like SE. Once again dont hesitate to tell them all these.

Dont step back and insist.

And remember... failure is not an option!

It's called the "sunrise" effect. I dropped my P800 few days back and sent it back to SE service centre today and they replaced it free. (Still under warranty)

Can you tell me some more technical info about this so called "sunrise" effect ?

did you try to even contact Sony Ericsson directly? They are responsible for the manufacture of that device, they should have some idea hmmm? When my screen failed I contacted SE first and requested to speak to a supervisor to discuss my problem and they insited that the screen will be covered even if there was a big ass crack running down the centre (because of pressing the keypad to hard after the screen quit responding). He gave me his name and told me to tell the service centre to talk to him if they have a problem with covering the warranty. So i walked in there and spat out the whole story and the "pre-approval" before they had a chance to say "umm... duuuuhhh no".

So GET ON IT!!! and quit whining about it, we cant do anything about your screen mate... sorry but you have to learn to help yourself, we can only give you advice (which it seems you have received from some nice people on here already) but it is you that has to put the words into action. And like it was said "BE FIRM"

and if that little cocksucker doesnt fix it (after you slap the taste outta his mouth and leave), SE is obligated to fix it by mail, there is "always" that option. The last thing SE wants is negative feedback on their PR.

Can you give me any email from SE to contact them ?
Because in my country (Slovenia) the importer is a very strange company and a lot of customers were unhappy with their relation to them.
I would like to contact the right person from SE, because i can`t be satisfied with service`s opinion, that this is my fault, because i always have the keyboard on.

thanks in advance !
